W3 Awards Submission: Disney: WALL-E: Home Entertainment Online Creative

3-CUP WALLE WIDGET

This Interactive widget saw over 65,000 embeds. It contained video, a countdown timer (until the Home Entertainment release), and a game which was the highlight of the widget. The 3-CUP WALL-E game used video assets provided by Disney/Pixar and was similar to the famous game "3-cup Monte". With the use of a SmartFox server, Deadline was able to give the widget game two player functionality.

WALL-E - AMAZON.COM TAKEOVER

Deadline and Disney worked together to create the first ever animated takeover on Amazon.com (amazon.com/walle). Deadline and Amazon technical teams worked to integrate this never before done execution, forgoing the need for a Rich Media agency. The goal was to drive attention to the the site for a word of mouth viral marketing experience.

WALL-E - RICH MEDIA BANNER

Deadline's home entertainment banner campaign contained this highlighted 300x250 Rich Media unit. To portray the characters from the movie, Deadline included Pixar video sequences in the floating and non expanded states of animation. Upon expansion, Deadline incorporated the 3-CUP WALL-E game (used in the widget as well) directly into the banner.
